We Used To Laugh

Looking back at all the photos,
I wish I said goodbye,
I miss taking those photos,
It never mattered where we were

It was little things that made me smile,
When you visited, we got a day off school,
Just to play soccer,
In the long grass, it tickled

I want those smiles,
That long grass,
And days off school,
I really want them back

I look in the mirror,
Sometimes I feel empty,
Because you’re not next to me,
Smiling

Even if I am only allowed to say one word,
